    LA iii vs Kveik in a NEIPA

    I've only brewed a few neipas with kveik (hornindal) so far, and I think it's great, especially for the fermentation time.     Too much sea salt

    I was brewing a rauchbier, and on a whim I decided to add salt to it. This might be fine in appropriate quantities, but I added 1.5 oz of sea salt for a 5 gallon batch. For some reason, I remembered reading that that was a reasonable amount, but my wort now tastes like the ocean. Any chance...
