    extract kit as starter for high gravity lager

    I have just mashed and cubed(no chill) a baltic porter sg 1.074 Ran out of exract to make a starter. So I have decided to brew a beer kit from supermarket as a starter. I havent added any sugar just the can up 13liter sg 1.037 are fermenting at 16c just above recomended range for the yeast...
