Hops are up in the NW. Do I cut them back?

Hello. All 18 of my hop plants are between 1" and 8" as of March 24, 2017. Should they all be cut back? If so, when? If not, do I simply wait for the 6 most aggressive vines to take shape and cut the rest back? Please help. Thank you.

I am designing a sink area and want to incorporate a surface mounted glass rinser into the stainless steel sink surface. I want this to rinse glass carboys as well as corny kegs. Can someone suggest a product that can be surface mounted and has good pressure/spray for carboys and the corny kegs?

    Oxygen regulator flow rate

I recently purchased an O2 regulator and would like to know a good rule of thumb for liters/minute for 5 gallons of beer. After reading all the threads and calculation on the subject, I'm really confused. The best I can tell is that .5 or 1.0 liters/minute for 60 seconds is sufficient. Can...

Batch sparge from the bottom up

I have a horizontal 3 keg brewing system and I use the batch sparge method. I have been using my pump to introduce the sparge water into the mash kettle through the bottom pick up tube vs. dumping it in the top. Are there any negative's to this method?

My hops are close to being ready for harvesting. I was going to pick them this weekend however we are set to get our first batch of rain in about 2 months. Should I wait until after the rain? Is it ok to pick them wet? Any advice is appreciated!

Adding Fruit - Whole, crushed or juiced

I am getting ready to add raspberries and blueberries separately to my Hef in the secondary. I understand that I should heat them both to 160 for sanitation and then cool. My question is to add the berries whole, crushed, or juiced.

Adding soil to my raised hop beds

I want to increase the depth of my raised hop beds that are currently built with 2x8's. The plants are several years old and have a good root structure but I believe they need more good soil due to the clay base below. I would like to add another section of 2x8's to the raised beds and add an...
