I was at my local Ace Hdw store, they have Hazelnut shells, I wonder if they would work in the mash to prevent it getting stuck, they are crushed somewhat, they could be rinsed and used repeatedly. Has anyone tried them
American IPA, OG 1.063, gravity after 7 days in primary 1.020, estimated FG 1.015, will it drop some more If I secondary or should I leave it in primary and rouse the yeast. I don't usually secondary, I want to take an accurate measure for volume.
