    something weird in carboy!

    I used a kit along with a lme and substituted Safale us-05 instead of the kit yeast, 1/2 the lme with about 4litres water, added Cascade 1oz at the start,1/2 oz at 30min and 1/2 at last 15 min.Drained the wort to remove as much hop sludge with cheesecloth.1 week in the fermenter, now in...

    First time using hops....looks good!

    Used Cascade 2ounces,in a hopped IPA kit, along with light malt extract, very floral,and somewhat bitter in the carboy now and waiting for the final result.....but looks and smells great so far!

    no activity in air lock

    I have no activity in air lock but seems like I have some krausen...is my brew ok?
