I can't get to my final gravity I'm looking for.

I'm fermenting a batch of oatmeal stout been holding temp around 67-70 deg. In my conical. My O.G. was 1.068 and I'm trying to get a final gravity of 1.020 or less but it been stuck on 1.028 for about a week and a half. Beer looks clear and taste fine. Gravity went up .02 in a week!

I'm currently fermenting a vanilla oatmeal stout in my conical . A week into it I put my soaked vanilla beans in it and got a gravity reading of 1.28 the O.G. was 1.68. So 2 weeks into it I checked my gravity and it went up to 1.32. Is this normal? Oh yeah and I used 2000ml yeast starter kit.

Did I add my biofine too early?

I recently added my Biofine to my batch one week after fermentation while adding my soaked vanilla beans on my oatmeal vanilla stout. O.G. was 1.68 and current gravity 1.28 and that is when I added the Biofine. I'm hoping is doesn't mess up the yeast activity. Does anybody know much about biofine?

    New conical user.

I just recently made a S.S. conical and and I'm brewing a batch of vanilla bourbon stout. And I was wondering if I dump my yeast when I reach final gravity then add my bourban and vanilla and leave it in the same conical for an additional week would that work as a secondary process?
