    flavoring a stout with flavored coffee

    Would like to dry hop a stout with coffee grounds. Has anyone tried this? Thought I would put a flavored ground coffee in a cheese cloth bag as I would a dry hop. Any thoughts? Thanx! Greg

    Fast working yeast

    I brewed 2 batches this weekend, a stout and an IPA. Using dry yeast packets about 1/3rd ounce. Bam again the yeast just exploded withing 6 to 8 hours, went like made for about 48 hours and just came to a halt. Shouldn't the yeast be bubbling the airlock a few days? Is a full 1/3rd ounce...

    Fementation

    We did a double hopped IPA this Sunday, Pitched the yeast after activation and capped the bucket with the airlock. Started gurgling really soon I thought at about 6 hours.
