    Yeast Still In Suspension...

    Ruthless Rye Clone Substitute

    I can't find Bravo hops locally for my bittering hop. What can I substitute for this? My LHBS gave me Palisades, but I don't think the alpha is high enough. The other hops in the recipe are Magnum and Chinook for flavoring and Magnum/Chinook/Citra dry hop. Any help is appreciated. :tank:

    New Mash Tun Question

    Howdy, I'm building a new mash tun with a rectangular cooler. I'm using the stainless steel braid shell of a water heater hose as a filter. Can you use the rubber hose inside the stainless sleeve for the run-off hose? I assume it is high heat resistant.

    Primary question...

    I brewed an IPA w/ 12 lbs of grain and 4 oz of hops. It fermented out fast with West Coast ale yeast within two days. It has been in the primary carboy for a week. Can I stick it in a refrigerated keg now? When should it be done? :confused:
