Help convert my extract recipe to all grain

I have a great extract IPA that I've brewed many times and everyone really enjoys it. I haven't brewed it since I went all grain and obviously want to do my best to replicate it with my new system. I'm hoping to get some assistance with the conversion. Here's the recipe.... 6 lbs Pilsen LME...

    My $7 DIY Mash Paddle

This was my first DIY brewing project and it turned out better than I expected. The wood is a piece of oak and was originally 36" x 5 1/2". It was $7 at Home Depot. I went with a circle design and measured four times so I only had to cut once. Not bad for a few hours of work (mostly sanding)

I have some 5 gallon carboys and a corny keg I'm looking to flip for a wort chiller. Perhaps a carboy and the keg for a chiller or two carboys. I'm in Seattle if any one is interested.

    What is this?

I opened my primary to take a gravity reading on my American wheat and this is what I found. Any idea what this is? I've done 6-7 batches and I've never seen this before. This was brewed on August 12 and is pretty much at it final gravity.

    Critique my IPA

This IPA will be my 5th batch and my first IPA It's also the first I've come up with on my own. I've been trolling the threads and taking bits and pieces and this is what I came up with. I want a citrusy floral IPA that's got good bite to it but not scrap your tongue bitterness. 6 lbs light...

What music do you listen to while you brew?

Brewed a wheat on Sunday and I had Pandora set to an electronic station. Avicii, Nero, Gemini, Tiesto, Skrillex. It passed the time well in between steeping, boiling and the hop additions. What do you listen to while you brew?

    Fermentation issue?

I made a cider on 8/11 with 5 gallons of tree top cider,2 pounds of brown sugar, yeast nutrient and Wyeast cider yeast. The OG was 1.066 but when I took my gravity reading last night it was only down to 1.050. I unfortunately didn't smack my smack pack until about an hour or so before I...

Is it possible to over pitch?

Just picked up a 3 gallon carboy that I would like to use for experimental batches and such. Since most yeast packs are enough for 5 gallons can I still use a normal yeast pack for a 3 gallon batch instead of a 5 gallon batch?

    My 3rd cider batch

Today I made my 3rd batch of cider. I dissolved the brown sugar and enzyme in 3/4 of a gallon of cider. Pour it and the rest of the cider into the carboy and added the yeast nutrient and yeast. Gave it a good long shake and threw on the air lock. The plan is to let it ferment dry and back...

    Gravity question on fruit beer

A few weeks back I brewed an all extract wheat. This past Saturday I mashed up and boiled 11 cups of huckleberries and racked my five gallons on the huckleberry purée. I took a gravity reading before primary fermentation (1.057) and I had a steady reading for three days (1.018) before moving to...

    Splitting a batch

Last weekend I brewed a batch of hefeweizen and the plan was to do a secondary fermentation on a huckleberry purée. I'm thinking now that I may want to split this batch and do half on the huckleberries and leave the other half just a regular hefeweizen. Is this a bad idea? Is there anything I...
