    Racking stuck beer on a different yeast cake

    I have an imperial stout that is stuck at 1.050. OG was 1.120 and i checked it two weeks ago and again today, still the same. I have a rye IPA that is about done, should i rack my stout onto this cake to see if it gets going again? I was hoping for 1.040 at the worst.

    To much head Space in carboy for big stout

    I recently brewed up a beast of an imperial stout but during the 90 minute boil i did i lost some volume and only got about 4 gallons. There is a solid amount of open space in the better bottle im using and im worried about oxidation. Not really worried about it so much in the primary but im not...
