    Infection in my bottles...?

    I just bottle carbed about 15 or 20 bottles, and they don't seem all that... Pleasant to the eye. Looks like stringy little guys hanging from where the top of the cider is in the bottle. Normal? Anything I can do? Here's a pic. Not very good... Sent from my SGH-I337M using Home Brew mobile app

    Too much Special Roast

    HELP! cider noob has pasteurization concerns :(

    I had one of my 12oz bottles blow yesterday morning as well... i think my temp was about 165F or so... scared the HELL outta me and the dog. Towel was draped over, so no glass anywhere.     Caramel Apple Hard Cider

    I made a gallon batch of this... with tweaks of my own. And just before bottling, the taster was lovely. Would be nice as a still cider as well. I might have to make a bit more of this, that's for sure! Thanks!!

    Thank you. Wish me luck! Gonna crack it when my sister comes over. See what 3 days of carbing has done. I used 5 little bottles and three or four big bottles, so i am gonna probably age the big bottles and see what happens. If it was any good, i might make a bigger batch next time. The taster...
