    Question about "Bulk aging"

I have 5L. batch of blackberry melomel and I think it's ready to aging. It's very clear almost cystal clear coz I didn't use bentonite or anythings to make it clear and it taste very good also. And without bubbling the airlock. I think all fermentation has been stoped. So, if I rack it to...

    Aging mead in OAK barrels?

I also plan to age my mead in 5 L. mini Oak barrel(American Oak heavy chared) but my mead is dry. I think 1-2 month should be OK as I was tried to age spirit in it, 1 month later the spirit became to Oak color and Oak smell. It can be over oaked if longer.

    Fastest primary fermentations?

My Blackberry melomel also took 4 days to stop the bubbling the airlock. At the first time I 've seen I think it went to stuck fermentation but not really. I've seen the bubble in the must still active. It was stoped all activities in 1 week and that is quite fast fermentation so I racked it...
