    Gasketless fitting?

Thanks. I think I'll try using a din fitting without a gasket cause I don't like the idea of having a gasket glued down to the bottom of my kettle

    Gasketless fitting?

How do they stop the gasket from floating around after the inner pot is taken out? Is it glued in place or something?

    Gasketless fitting?

I've been thinking of making my own homebrew system since I make brewing systems as a job. I like the concept of the speidel braumeister but I'm not sure how they get a seal between the inner malt pot and the kettle. Can anyone tell me how it's done?

    Angle grinder or cut off?

If I were to do it (which I often do at work) I would draw out a perfectly straight line using a straight edge or tack weld a straight edge on all the way around the keg then use an angle grinder with a Zip disk to cut all the way around. It will most likely kick on you so if you were to use a...

    Stainless Sanitary welds

    Stainless Sanitary welds

    Double boiler question

I was wanting to go with a double boiler because I've heard that just using a regular pot will often give you some scorching on the bottom of the pot

    Double boiler question

Hey I'm new to home brewing. So new that I don't have a system and haven't made beer yet. I do, although, know a bit about brewing since I weld and fabricate 5 to 300 bbl brewing systems every work day. Since most of our systems are pretty big they're mostly heated with steam jackets. Working...

    Hey from Victoria BC!

Hey I live and work in Victoria BC. I weld and fabricate custom brewing systems from 5 hectoliters to 300 bbl so I have access to a huge amount of brewing equipment to make my own small system. Just wondering what people think of me making a kettle that would fit on the stove that would be like...
