Fan-freakin-tastic! I love it. Hoppy, light, the wife loves it, cheap, easy. What more could you ask for?

    Cinco de Mayo Kolsch

Okay, let's say that someone loves this beer. Let's also say that all of said person's friends love this beer. Let's say that said person has moved on to all grain, and has swore off partial mash recipes, still wanted to make this fantastic beer, but didn't know how to convert it to an all...

Irish Stout Ode To Arthur, Irish Stout (Guinness Clone)

I love it! It needs to age though. I tried it two weeks in the bottle. Not so hot. Three weeks... not much better. Let it sit in the bottle at least a month, maybe more. It's smooth and delicious. The only change I might consider is maybe to add some carafoam as it doesn't hold it's...

Thanks so much for this recipe. It tastes great, and is mild enough to be popular with the friends. This is going to turn into a regular, as I can't keep it around very long.

my all grain recipe for a warsteiner dunkel clone.

What mash technique did you use? I tried this as my first attempted AG, but it soon turned into a partial mash. I did a single infusion mash and only drew 1.030 og at 70*F, so I added light and dark dme and corn sugar till it came up to about 1.050. I think I'll call this one "Dunkel Gone...

1st beer in secondary, What's next?

The spot I'm fermenting in now stays prettty consistent around 65*. I have another spot that stays around 70-75*. I'm going to try lagering in my garage in the winter. For right now though, I only have the above.

1st beer in secondary, What's next?

My first brew (Papazian's Toad Spit Stout) is in the secondary. Everything seems to be going just fine. Now I want to step it up a notch. I'm thinking about doing a partial mash, and would prefer something with a lighter body so I'll have some variety on hand. Does anybody have any...

    The Lurker has spoken.

Hi everybody! I've been lurking for a few weeks now and soaking up all the info I can. I've been reading the How to Brew website, and waiting impatiently for my copy of Papazian's bible to show up. Yesterday my book showed up, and later in the evening I bought a whole mess of brewing...
