    Question

So I began AG brewing this summer. Bought all the stuff and I've been very successful so far. The first AG brew I made I was way off with my volume... a learning process but the brew came out decent anyways. My friend and I thought it needed alittle more hops so we bought the same kit and...

    Bottling Question

Ok I already made a post and received feedback last week but my situation has changed. I have a pretty brand new capper... its red with two handles and he magnet in the middle. I used Munton's carb tabs to carb my beer. Put it in the bottles 2 Thursdays ago (1 day short of 2 weeks) The...

    Question about carb tabs

Okay, well they're in the fridge now so they should carb up faster

    Question about carb tabs

How long do they usually take to carbonate? Back of the package says 1 week. I bottled last thursday and decided to try one today, figuring that if they weren't all the way carbonated, they'd be carbonated enough for drinking. Turns out it hasn't carbonated one bit... I am very confused...

    Boost Carbing

I read the thread, very informative. I over carbed my beer, let it sit for a week at 35psi.... Getting all foam. Was wondering how to "fix" this. Sticky'd thread says multiple purges but I don't know what that means, (I assume letting the C02 out?). I dropped my pressure to 5psi before...

    My first All-Grain

well, I dunno about efficiency, I used a recipe and AG kit from seven bridges organic homebrew supplies. I'm probably ok with this brew, just might be a little stronger because the gravity was off because I didnt use enough sparge... and I wont have the volume I wanted. All my questions got...

    My first All-Grain

Thanks for the replies. I felt that I couldn't boil much more over 5 1/4 gallons of wort because I thought the beer would be watered down. If simply adding volume and boiling down is the answer I can't wait to fire up the kettle.

    My first All-Grain

I have been home brewing since November of 2007. I started out with extract kits, moved to making my own extract recipes, and using specialty stuff. This July I decided to make the move to AG brewing. I have to say it wasn't too terribly difficult and I think I did well. I have a few...
