So I have the same kettle but went with Bargain Fittings’ custom length pickup/whirlpool tube to get the whirlpool outlet to exactly where I wanted it, about the 3 gallon mark, and just plumbed it through the top port. Mostly because I wanted unity amongst the three kettles, I’m a little ocd.

This would make sense that they're coming out with an electric setup considering I JUST purchased three of their kettles to convert to electric.

So I don't post a lot, but just finished a 3 vessel single tier eherms build, every time I had an issue with wiring, pid setting, or hardware, I would google a solution, and augiedoggy was ALWAYS the response that I found and would rely on.

Overall, how would you compare the Blichmann RipTide pump vs something like a Chugger Center Inlet?

The thing with being sucked back in, is it was at 52 when I pitched and placed the tube in the blowoff, so I wouldn't imagine the temp dropped while the tube was still submerged. Hmm. I'll try moving it out of line of the fan on the next one
