Doing a extract brew today and as I am chilling the wort I noticed some hop sediment floating, must have dissolved down small enough to escape the hop sock...Will this settle or should I be worried about it?

Has anyone done the extract version of this? If so, can you share any information. I am going to order all the ingrediants tommoroww from AHS. His directions say to do a full boil, but I am only capable of 4gallons, so I would have to add a gallonof water to my carboy...I think this would be ok...

+1 These are useless unless mashed..I just did a kolsch with german pils and beyond better judgment did not mash, don't think I got the results I wanted!! If I were you and did not want to mash, I would follow these instructions.

Hey guys I am going to build a fermentation chamber out of my mini fridge. My question is will a Johnson temp controller work on these fridges. It is just the basic style. I sized it up today an if I take out the front panel, my carboy fits fine. My only concern was the temp controller.
