adding lime juice to keg of corona clone

Don't remember the exact amount, but I do remember it being about 3/4 a can of concentrate. Your lime juice addition will probably need a lot less as the lime flavor is a lot stronger than the OJ.

adding lime juice to keg of corona clone

I did this method for adding OJ concentrate to a Blue moon clone (for the swmbo), and it worked out quite well. Was like the orange slice was already added.

IPA with Cascade, Citra and... ?

Amarillo would work well for the bittering here too, or even Centennial. I love Citra as a dry hop addition.

adding lime juice to keg of corona clone

My advice is to pour yourself 8 oz. of the beer. Then add 1/4 or 1/8 tsp (smallest measuring spoon you have) of the lime juice to your glass and mix well. Taste. Repeat until you are happy. Now take the amount you added for that glass and multiply by 80 to get the amount you need to add to...

    Paraphrased conversation with SWMBO

For me there are two keys to keeping my wife happy with my brewing: 1) Never leave a mess and more importantly 2) Make sure her tap is always stocked. I added a tap to the keezer for her and keep styles she likes on tap there. As long as her tap is flowing, I get no complaints....

Whole lot of Brewing Equipment - Chicago Suburbs

Definitely interested in the corny kegs (and possibly regulators, manifolds, 11 gal kettle, and 5# tank) if you decide to break it up. I have family in Chicago burbs as well that could pick up for me. Thanks.

dual gauge regulator + weldlessbulkhead $30

    Single-tier three-vessel electric brewery

+1. Would love to take this off your hands (and will even have family nearby), but I think the SWMBO would skin me for spending that on my "hobby"....

    Need a yeast recommendation

I am planning a batch for the SWMBO inspired by New Belgium's Sunshine Wheat. The beer is a light, crisp filtered wheat. It tastes very fruity, even apple flavors to me. I was looking for a recommendation for a yeast to help with this estery, fruity profile. Maybe an abbey or kolsch...

    Hoppy Wheat or Hoppy Wit?

Try 'em both and compare :mug:. If I had to choose, I would go with the hoppy wheat recipe. Just seems the hop flavors will blend better in that beer. Not sure how the spice of the Belgian would pair with the hop...

Gumball Head Clone, what do you think.

Well according to 3 Floyds web site (and the bartender at the brewery), it is an all amarillo addition: "An American Wheat Ale, Gumballhead is named in honor of the underground comic book cat created by Rob Syers. Initially a seasonal summer beer, now brewed year round due to demand. This...

    Hefe Concern

By activity I was talking about visual inspection in the primary. No little bubbles or foaming or anything. I actually didn't have the airlock on for fear of making a beer fountain. I am using a bucket primary, and I put a piece of saran wrap over the little hole for the airlock (figured C02...

    Hefe Concern

Brewed up my first Hefe last night. Pitched at 64* with WY3068. Based upon others' posts, I was expecting a fairly vigorous fermentation. Checked this morning and there is no activity. I know it was only about 8 hours, but others have reported vigorous results quickly. I hope I just...
