Minnesota Brand New Kegerator Faucet tower and Perlick

Brand new, never installed or used Single tap tower with Faucet. The tower is black and 3". Came from a brand new Danby Kegerator, I am using as a fermentation chamber, so don't need the tower. $50 with free shipping via Fed-Ex Ground.

    What would work with Elderflowers?

The Elderflower taste was quite strong and overpowered the Koosch. Ended up dumping it to free a keg. Will not be brewing this recipe again. Should have stuck with a straight Kolsch.

    Prefab Brew Stands

I agree. Very fast to respond and reasonable quotes. Looking forward to buying a stand from him in the fall for winter brewing.

    Extract IPA with 1098 slurry?

1098 is my new house strain for Pale ales and IPA. I used to use 1056 for these, but really like how clean, fast and flocculant 1098 ferments. While certainly not an expert, I can't taste any difference between my house IPA (two hearted clone) fermented with 1056 and 1098.

Why are lagers much more popular than ales?

Very true. However the number of people alive and drinking beer today who were drinking beer pre-prohibition is very low. Of the current beer drinking population of the US, 95% started with Lagers. Ales are coming on strong, but habits are hard to break. Today I would rather drink water than...

    keg disappointment

I second the wrench recommendation. Well worth the $10. I tried deep sockets, etc this makes removal very easy.

    iBrewmaster2

Honestly, I really only used iBrewmaster one to look at recipe ideas. IBrewmaster2' UI has definitely been updated and improved. Profiles seem much enhanced, and efficiency calculation. There are far more base recipes in this version. I would have to go back thought the first version to...

    iBrewmaster2

Just posted this to the iBrewmaster iPhone thread, posting here as it is more relevant to this iBrewmaster 2 thread. At first glance, I though $17 was a bit expensive. I went ahead and upgraded and bought v2. I am very impressed. After using version 1, Beersmith lite, and Beersmith full on the...

    Beersmith Mobile iPhone/iPad

I was also trying to find this, but have not found efficiency calculation yet. To even enter a batch, you have to edit a recipe. I just bought iBrewmaster2 and posted my thoughts versus the two on that thread. IBrewmaster2 calculates efficiencies on the fly. Overall I like iBrewmaster2 better...

    iBrewMaster (iPhone) - Great

At first glance, I though $17 was a bit expensive. I went ahead and upgraded and bought v2. I am very impressed. After using version 1, Beersmith lite, and Beersmith full on the iPad, iBrewmaster2 is by far the best. I don't remember how much v1 was, but the recipe packs were $8 alone. Now...

    Beersmith Mobile iPhone/iPad

Confirmed. One version works on both. As long as you have the same Apple ID on both you only have to pay once.

    Beersmith Mobile iPhone/iPad

I have iBrewmaster as well. Though I have really only used it for recipe ideas and references. After you mentioned the calendaring, I looked into it more, that feature does look helpful, especially with a full pipeline. I did read a thread about their upcoming version 2 software and looked...

    Beersmith Mobile iPhone/iPad

I agree. To me, both versions seem like a good value for the quality and content. It is not cheap, fast or easy to write quality software programs. Then Apple and Google take their cut on the App Store versions.
