I know that there is a huge debate about using secondaries but I wanted to use one so I'm not Trying to start another debate thread... I sanitized everything really good and when I racked the beer into the secondary there was a good amount of foam from the starsan an once all the foam went away...

So this is after 30 minutes of sitting. I used more water than I probably should have as I only can see 3 layers in each. A layer of beer an milky layer them a layer that looks like a yeast cake. My question is: is the milky layer all healthy yeast that I should put into separate jars?

So my beer that started out at 1.052 instead of 1.066 is now at a final gravity of 1.006 instead of the expected 1.020. Does the final gravity being lower than the original even out? As far as tastes concerns go?
