Poured Resin Penny Bar Top question

I'd glue them down so they don't dislodge during the pour. I did a bottle cap bar this summer. Careful with the glue as any stray glue will be visible through the resin. Also make sure you have enough resin for the "final" coating (maybe with pennies the first coat is the final coat) to cover...

    FT: Budweiser: Cellared 30+ Years

I'm liking the donkey trade, i may counter offer on that. Wikipedia says they live 30 - 50 years in developed countries... For the Bud, I'll offer an empty 1982 Iron City can.

Sparge vs no sparge in cooler mashtun

Maybe I'm wrong but that sounds like a batch sparge with a mash out. No sparge is putting all of the water in at once to hit your mash target, vorlauf, and then go right to boil. I'd estimate 10% less efficiency to start. Mine is usually only 5% less on low gravity beers than if I do a normal...

    Graff (Malty, slightly hopped cider)

Anybody have any thoughts/experiences with aeration prior to pitching? Good? Bad? Doesn't Matter?

All-grain v full volume (Deathbrewer style)

It's doable. You just have to adjust your grain bill for no-sparge and keep your temperature up. If you try it, I'd be interested to hear about anything else you run into.

What do Americans think of Canadians generally?

Stef1966, I love the canadians in general, but I can't say much about the french canadians. I go to Ontario several times a year and spent a summer in Sorel Quebec a few years ago. The french canadians were fine while I was in Montreal or the strip clubs, but outside of Montreal when they...

any tips on buying a Turkey Fryer?

I don't know if anyone else has seen this: "]Cabela's My local add had a 7-1/2 gallon model with the same drain valve and the top of the pot was flared out (something about overflow protection). I'd like to see how the valve/inside of the pot is set up. Especially after I just installed...

Witbier Blue Balls Belgian Wit (Blue Moon Clone)

I just build my first mash tun and I plan on trying it out this weekend with this recipe. So here's the question/clarification from the new guy: Your Boil Size is listed as 6.5 gal, with a Mash In volume of 3.5 gal and Mash Out volume at 3.0 gal. Is "boil size" the total of the water going...
