    Bottle cleaning info request.

Uuughh... I wouldn't risk putting my beer in them. Not worth it for a couple cases of empty bottles.

    Random fermentation

I had this happen on my last batch. The primary fermentation was extremely weak. So after 7 days I transferred it to the secondary and added the dry hops. After about 24-48 hours in the secondary it took off fermenting like crazy! I assumed that the dry hops helped aerate the beer and helped...

    Newbie Questions

You can carbonate with CO2 in a Bottle with this attachment. A bit easier and saves time. Ready to drink in days not weeks. Also, anytime you use yeast to carbonate you will end up with a very small amount of alcohol in your soda (as alcohol is a byproduct of yeast easting the sugar). Not...

    blueberry extract question

As for natural or artificial, I am not sure. I would taste them both and see which one you like better. Maybe try diluting them in some water or something so you can really taste the differences. I would also recommend adding this to your bottling bucket before bottling. The main reason is...

    storing beer in corny kegs

Yes, they should last just fine as long as get stay at a refrigerated temperature, and maintain pressure. Thats some setup you have! Lucky guy to have a wife that allows you to have that big of a setup!!

    fermentation question

The temperature should be fine... hopefully the yeast wasn't dead to begin with. I have had batches where the yeast takes a couple of days to take off. But making a starter is always good idea to insure viability of the yeast before pitching.
