    Hi, has anyone done such a small batch in a large mash tun? I was thinking of pre heating the mash tun but not sure if it will keep a stable temp? Cheers aussie brewer :)

    Hi, im trying to halve a recipe on beersmith, I used the scale function and it changes the ratio of malts but keeps the gravity and ibu the same. I tried entering half of everything in and the ibu's are too low. Anyone have a solution for this? cheers :)

    Im going with adding the salts to mash and sparge water, which acid do you guys prefer to bring the pH down? do I acidify the mash and sparge water for this brew? Thanks a lot for the replies :):):)
