Using argon gas to fill headspace in a keg?

I have a bottle of 75/25 Argon CO2 mix and it's expensive. Use nitrogen, it's a lot cheaper.

    I am so old

I'm so old the average watermelon had a billion seeds in it. I'm so old it took a week to learn whether your photos came out okay. I'm so old we used large maps made of paper, and none of us could ever re-fold them back the way they came.

    Steeping temp

I did that on my first brew and the beer tasted great. Since you can't reverse time, I wouldn't worry about it.

    sanke kegs??

This is a subject that really interests me. I had a supplier quote me roughly $84 for 1/6 barrel sanke kegs shipped. I thought I'd wait until after Christmas to research and make a decision on the type of keg to buy. I have to say if I have to buy expensive equipment simply to clean the kegs...

I'm pretty sure that numbers 3, 6, & 7 should avoided due to toxins.

    Yeast Starter

Are you using a stir plate? If not, you need to lightly shake it. There's a good sticky on the subject.

How Much Priming Sugar for One Gallon Batch?

No more than 1 ounce. It depends on the style of beer and your preference. You only need enough water to dissolve the sugar.

    Recommend an induction burner?

There isn't one that I would recommend. A gas burner will reduce your brew day immensely.

    Switching to all-grain...stove vs outdoor?

I cannot do full boils on my glass stovetop. SWMBO is much happier now I brew outside.

A pork chop in every bottle... a bit of madness...

I REALLY like beer, but pork juice in the beer is something that I'll definitely pass on.
