what did you use to clean the secondary,sometimes with cleaners you need to give it a nice rinse, I use StarSan, it is a non-rinse cleaner and leaves foam to get in the hard to reach areas

agreed with storunner put it in the fridge and let some that co2 absorb, unless you have a nice cool area where you can let them get aged nicely

It does take a little while for the swelling to come in the package since the nutrients are waking up the yeast, I just brew and at the end it is usually swelled ready to go..
