Weird. I'm still waiting for mine to take off. I pitched Safcider yeast about 48 hours ago and right now my lock is popping off around every 12-15 seconds. My OG was 1.050, does anyone know how low Safcider will take it?

Good evening. Which orchard is that? I've been looking for a good, reasonably priced cider mill. The places around me tack the Westchester County NY premium on their gallons. I'd definitely travel into CT for cider.

I've made this twice now from the extract recipe. The first batch I fermented 4 gallons and it is delicious and I have 5 gallons fermenting right now. I had 4 gallons of wort that I topped up to 5 so we'll see how that goes. Oh and I had to use Mosaic both times because my store was out of Citra.
