I want to start kegging half of my brews so that I can make a few different batches at once. Right now, I dont have enough bottles or space to make more than one batch at a time. Have you guys used these? Which are better, pros and cons? Will they hold carbonation long? I've done some research...

how long does the beer last in a keg? is it comparable to bottles?

austin home brew has a kit for la fin du monde, but not Le Maudite. I agree, I used to live 45 min from Montreal, Ca. We would always take trips up there to get the fresh stuff from the brewery. Nothing better than some good Unibroue!

How warm is too warm to ferment? We have HOT summers here, and the house will not go below 80 degrees. Is that too warm to brew?

I have had the Turbo Dog before, and I remember it being quite tasty!

For me it realy depends on the type of beer. I drink mostly belgians, and for those I will take out of the fridge for 30 min or so before I drink them. They taste better when they are closer to room temp.

I'm about to start a brew kit I ordered from them, and I chose to get the 1% alchohal boost. I'm assuming it goes into the boil, but it doesn't say when. Do you guys have any experiance with this?

one of my favorites!! a local pub used to have this on tap and it cost 5$ a pint.

well, it's been lesson learned here. This beer has been in bottles for almost 2 weeks. I just opened one up and it tastes better than what you can buy in stores!!!! This was only my 2nd brew... and needless to say from the outcome of this one that I am more than eager to order another kit from...

has anyone ever brewed the delerium tremens clone from austin home brew? i just transferred this to a secondary. I must say, it has probably the worst smell ever to it. Nothing like in the bottles you can buy. Will this clear up? The color looks fine, but with that smell i am scared to taste it!

Ill try that. Right now i have it sitting in the second bathroom's tub. I had to light a candle because of the awful smell. As far as the boost, looks like i'll have 2% to add to the next batch! thanks for the quick reply!
