    Wine ideas for my wife

A Riesling would probably go over well. She would probably like one of the island mist or orchard breezin kits, they're like wine coolers, but they may not fit your objective of getting her to drink regular wine.

Is my siphon oxygenating my beer?

An air bubble forms in mine at the same spot, but it's not a leak, it's just trapped air. As mentioned earlier, I can just squeeze, the tubing over the bubble and it will flush out the air.

    Skeeter Pee

Well its been 72 hrs and I have zero activity. I whipped it good yesterday and again tonight. I gave it a shot of oxygen tonight too. I'll give it another 48 hrs and then if it hasn't started I'll have to move on to plan B. Now I just need to come up with a plan B! Any advice?

I put 5oz of corn sugar in the 5 GAL batch and bottled some in flip top bottles and some in 16oz pet bottles. It's been 5 days at 70-75 degRees...

    Apfelwein question

I am about to make some apfelwein for the first time, already bought 5 gal of motts apple juice. I went to a different store today and found 5 gal of pasteurized cider so I bought it. I have enough equipment and supplies to do a batch of both. I'm planning on doing the motts juice exactly by...
