    Beer Value

Are there any beers in Texas that have any trade value? I have a list of beers that I would like to try but the only way of getting them is through trade. I live in Austin though, and it seems like there are no beers with real trade value being distributed here. Am I wrong?

    120, and pro-am 2012 ft

Have some DFH 120 and Southern Star Pro-Am 2012 for trade. Looking for some pliny's or zombie dust or maybe something interesting you might have to offer. Just had a Pro-Am and I am really impressed with it. Its a shame if they don't make this again.

Can 3 days make a difference?

So I a m going to my hometown this weekend and I really wanted to share my beer (bavarian hefe) which is currently bottle conditioning. I tried it after tried it after 5 days conditioning knowing that it might still be flat but noticed that that wasn't the case. I noticed that although the beer...

    Screw it, Im tasting one!

So, my samples tasted pretty great, but they weren't as sweet. I think that is because the beer isn't done conditioning and some of the priming sugar hasn't been eaten by the yeast. I have to say other than the sweetness, the beer does seem to have a way cleaner taste than the samples I tried...

    Screw it, Im tasting one!

Wow! Tasted it, and it has great carbonation! It was really good! A bit sweeter than expected (a tiny bit, and not necessarily a bad thing). I don't know if thats what people call extract twang but I didn't mind it at all (it might've helped even, maybe?). Carbonation was really good though...

    Screw it, Im tasting one!

So I brewed a weihenstephaner hefe clone that I let sit in primary for about 4 weeks. I bottled the beer last thursday. This weekend I am going to my hometown and wanted to take some with me to share my new hobby (first batch). I put two to cool after 5 days of conditioning which I know is too...

    maybe a noob question

I'll get on that first thing tomorrow. Now is the time to drink a few beers. That should help too.:mug:

    maybe a noob question

Can bacteria be introduced to beers after they have been bottled? I wouldn't think so, but tonight is the night of being paranoid about everything.

Stone Sublimely Self Righteous. So Good.

    bottles toppled

Some of the beer bottles I just bottled toppled in the plastic box I had them in as I was transferring them. None of them cracked, that I could see. Should I be worried?
