You could do that, but why not brew a blonde ale or light lager, then mix a shandy in the traditional manner? Seems you're creating a solution where there is no problem.

The ideal gas law assumes a closed system with no regulation. However, the regulator opens the system, making those equations moot (or, more accurately, more difficult to solve, given that gas amount is regulated and will vary with temperature and volume). The reading on the outlet (keg) side...

The roller design is promising. All the structural bits that matter appear to be aluminum - I don't think "pile of plastic" is an accurate description at all. The thumbscrews could indeed be problematic. IMHO, wait for Captain Crush's promotion to Major before committing to one.

No microbes will survive the roasting process -- that one was an easy answer. However, I wouldn't risk 5 gallons of beer with my first attempt at roasting coffee. Since I've never roasted coffee, I can't help much more than to say that I'd avoid doing what you suggest.

I buy that you get good retention, but a single pic of a single beer does not a hypothesis prove.

That sounds positively awful...and a lot like something someone who can't legally buy alcohol would attempt for a quick/cheap thrill.
