Star San: what you don't want to do with it

That'll buff out. Literally. Use a really fine Scotchbrite pad, then Gel Gloss to bring the shine back.

    Dma 35

Not many homebrewers have 5 figure bankrolls for their entire breweries, much less for a single piece of equipment that will net a "free" density meter. You're not the first to post about digital specific gravity and alcohol measuring, but you're the first I've seen claiming personal ownership...

Based on price alone, I'm guessing you're one of few, if not the only one. Neat device. You can buy a lot of hydrometers for the price of one.

What's the difference between base malts?

Stop the petty bickering and off topic arguing. Please read the following: https://www.homebrewtalk.com/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_rules_regulations Let me draw your attention to rule #13: "13. No use of "Google it", or "Try Searching". If a question has been answered before, answer it...

Any feedback on the Captain Crush Grain Mill?

My apologies if I insinuated that the rollers are aluminum. I'm guessing they are steel, but that info isn't provided in the description.

What is a Shandy and why is it called that?

You could do that, but why not brew a blonde ale or light lager, then mix a shandy in the traditional manner? Seems you're creating a solution where there is no problem.

Does a regulator outside of the fridge accurately reflect the pressure of a cold keg?

The ideal gas law assumes a closed system with no regulation. However, the regulator opens the system, making those equations moot (or, more accurately, more difficult to solve, given that gas amount is regulated and will vary with temperature and volume). The reading on the outlet (keg) side...

    Painting the keezer

I used automotive urethane and a two part clear coat on mine. It worked very well. Requires a spray gun, compressor, and respirator.

Any feedback on the Captain Crush Grain Mill?

The roller design is promising. All the structural bits that matter appear to be aluminum - I don't think "pile of plastic" is an accurate description at all. The thumbscrews could indeed be problematic. IMHO, wait for Captain Crush's promotion to Major before committing to one.

Why is my Og so low yo?

Problem compounded. The math doesn't lie. Unless you measured water volume or extract weight incorrectly, the original, unadulterated recipe had all of the ingredients required to achieve wort with an OG of 1.062. The sample you measured was very likely not representative of the entire batch...

Why is my Og so low yo?

Barring volume errors, it wasn't mixed well enough. Happens all the time, despite your insistence to the contrary.

How Should I Roast Coffee Beans for Porter?

No microbes will survive the roasting process -- that one was an easy answer. However, I wouldn't risk 5 gallons of beer with my first attempt at roasting coffee. Since I've never roasted coffee, I can't help much more than to say that I'd avoid doing what you suggest.

I buy that you get good retention, but a single pic of a single beer does not a hypothesis prove.

Classic Turbo Yeast for non-distilled homebrew?

That sounds positively awful...and a lot like something someone who can't legally buy alcohol would attempt for a quick/cheap thrill.
