Hello All, I am wondering if I should replace my cheap SSRs for a better quality name brand. I have a source that has a few Crydoms 75 amp SSRs and I was wondering if up sizing this large for my pumps and heat elements would have any detrimental effects. Cheers, Todd

Hello All, I am looking for advice on heat sinks for my panel. It will be a 50 amp BCS unit in a 20"X20"X8" Stainless enclosure. Do people prefer the individual heat sinks that fit the SSR or do you purchase a larger unit and tap all of the sir's to one larger unit? Cheers, CBG

I think I have plumbed it to not have to much waste, I can push all the wort out with the sparge water from the HLT to MLT to the BK. The path from the BK to the plate chiller is pretty shortl, but I guess I really won't know until I flip the switch on! Since this is my first build I expect...

Well just came across this 20"X20"X8" box that will be my control panel. I will need a little love but we have the technology to fix it!

I have a 50 amp BCS pannel in the works, I have pretty much everything in the shop to do this. I just found a Stainless box to house it all, so the next step will be wiring!

Can never go wrong with having more tools! The plate chiller was a great find, a family member had a old dairy and it was still on the wall, needs some love as they had galvanized fittings in the water side and the galvanic corrosion was unreal. I am not sur if I a going to try to weld it...

Hello All, I am looking for a source to buy my electric valves for a BCS build. Does anyone have a good supplier of valves that would include proportional? I have read some members are using valves 4 projects, but I did nor see any proportional valves on there eBay store. On a second note...

Thank you for the advice I guess I will have to ask Brundog or anyone else on how to do the Arduino thing. That is something I have never tinkered with before. Any one have valve suggestions? I will also need a valve that proportions for the mash tun. Cheers, CBG
