    Hop baskets

I've used a hop basket for my last two beers, with a strainer in the kegs. I have not noticed any change in the beer at all. Plus its easier than pouring the beer through a strainer later.

    WLP001 Trub..is this normal?

I just kegged a brew where I used White Labs WLP001 for the first time. While racking I noticed the trub looked different than I am used to. Normally I find a sludgy yeast cake but this time I found the bottom of an aquarium. Is this normal for this strain of yeast? (in need of a sanity check)...

POSSIBLE NEW PRODUCT FOR CORNY KEGS

I recently bought this, it reads and inch or so lower than the actual beer level but it is a nice gauge to know when you are about to blow foam.

Update: I hacked it up. After making sure the fridge was not a lemon I have hacked it up to accommodate two kegs. Its beautiful :D. Currently my plan is to serve off one keg while my backup carbs at serving pressure, once a keg kicks a brew starts.

It will for sure hold another (bought one last night :D) I may need to cut off the shelf supports on one side though. Its under some shelving so if anything i will do door taps. The only thing that makes me nervous is the cat opening the taps when I am at work. Either need an inline shut off...

One gallon batch started to ferment again?

Could be the yeast dropped out, a week seems like a long time for it start fermentation again. Although I know yeast are on their own time. I didn't take an OG since I misplaced my hydrometer. I will check it at bottling as it should be around the 1.010 range. I am going to ride this out until...
