    Pressure Relief Valve?

Hey, So I am using a keg as my reservoir for my carbonator. The spring loaded pressure relief valve is leaking which is a major problem since the gas in is seltzer and not gas. I was wondering what pressure they are supposed to open at? Also could I just take then thing and coat the spring...

    Soda Machine Carbonator

+1 for that. Don't put anything other than water through it. But they are great for seltzer and soda if you get a bar gun, etc.

Cracked Keg, What Should I Do With It?

Hey, I have a cracked keg that leaks from where the plastic meets the metal at the top. Obviously I am going to retire it from its beer/soda dispensing career, but the question is what "can" I do with it? Anyone have any good ideas?

    Carbonator Installed.

Turns out I had a big problem today. The pressure relief valve on my keg blew and spewed a LOT of seltzer..... not entirely sure why it blew though. Ordered a new valve and some other parts. What are those valves set for? The carbonator says to run it at 100PSI, which the keg should be able...

    Carbonator Installed.

That actually sounds like a better idea.... Which carbonator do you have? Is a bigger tank better? Did you have any issues with the disconnects not opening?

    Carbonator Installed.

Seltzer and soda. It is what a soda fountain at 7-11 uses.

    Carbonator Installed.

The carbonator was $160... the filter + adapters ran about $50 (with the filter). Not too bad. I'll post results after I let the keg chill down to fridge temps. Basically I used the carbonator to fill the keg with 5 gallons of room temp seltzer, then closed the lid, pressurized it, and put it...

    Carbonator Installed.

Hey All, I added a McCann Big Mac Carbonator to my system. My wife drinks a lot of seltzer and it seemed like a fun project. I picked up the carbonator used and it was pretty cheap. I hooked it all up this morning. My setup is as follows... Water Line -> Carbon Filter -> Pressure...

    Leaks Suck.

Hey All, Just got home from vacation to find my 20# CO2 tank nearly empty. Turns out I had a leak... Somehow I managed to put a nylon washer between the FFL of the Ball Lock Disconnect and the MFL of the hose. As it turns out that causes a fairly large leak. Anyone have any good advice for...

Converting fridge with freezer on top

Most full size fridges only have lines in the back of the freezer. Check with the manufacturer. Mini fridges have them everywhere.
