I used dried chipotle peppers in my secondary. I used 3. Did not open them so as not to impart too much spiciness due to the seeds. Next time I would use at least 1 more and leave in longer than the 4 days suggested.
to mrbowenz--I'm sorry but I don't think I met you--you might be thinking of someone else. I do appreciate the information though. You sound very knowledgable. I might be contacting you in the future with some of my other finds.

I came across this bottle capper. Stands about 4-5 feet tall. It is from the Gallagher Bottle Capping Machinery Company in Lynn MA. All cast iron. Anyone have any idea what this is worth?? Or do you have any background on it?
