    Tuff decision.

A pale ale would make since. I want to do one or two lower gravity beers to try and get things worked out. I would hate to be low on the sg with a big grain bill. Plus I need a fresh yeast cake for the barley wine. I want to get that one going to start the clock on aging.

    Tuff decision.

I just picked up 2 sacks of 2 row, 15 pounds of speciality grains, and a bunch of hops. I want to brew a triple, a barley wine, bourbon ale, and an ipa I just don't know which one to lose my all grain virginity on. I need to brew a mild beer before my barley wine. Is it just me? or do all ales taste better slightly below room temp

I'm thinking of doing a bulk buy. I will have the grains delivered toIA a business in Davenport. I can possibly have them pick up there or at my house in Camanche IA. I live about the 15 miles from I80 at the Mississippi River. If the interest is here I will forward you the price list.

Dubbel Trouble, Trippin' on the Tripel, and Quadrupel Threat

I have a hard time keeping beer 4 months. I don't drink to much. I just don't brew enough. I just bottled a Trappist that finished on the dry side. 1.000 at bottling it tasted so good I drank a glass.

    It works!

Your glass is about empty you better grab another beer. Good job by the way.

    Stainless CFC Compression Issues

If you use an adjustable wrench and turn it around the tubing, you can make the tubing round again. This is done in the refrigeration field all the time on copper. Have the wrench loose and start turning it around the tubing and tighten the wrench until it starts to form the tube.
