PLEASE let the Northern Brewer buy-out be a hoax!

I don't know about the mailorder side, but in the retail store they've dropped most of the White Labs, except for a few of the best sellers and gone big on Omega. They are still carrying most of the Wyeast stuff as well.

    Smoking Newbie

My suggestion is buy a Weber Performer charcoal grill and add one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Adrenaline-Barbecue-Company-SNS1000-Slow/dp/B014O9YB6G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1481596142&sr=8-1&keywords=slow+n+sear Then you are set for anything for about $400

How many BIABers use FWH & Hop-back?

I tried FWH, but found the bittering just didn't have the sharpness I like, it was too rounded off. I went back to a standard 60 min addition. Your tastes may vary.

What Brew House Efficiency to strive for?

I don't think the actual efficiency matters most on the homebrew scale, as much a repeatability. I'd rather have a system that gets 65% everytime rather than one that goes from 65% to 80% to 75%. That being said, I think 70-80% is a reasonable number.

Brew Bucket owners - What Mini Fridge are you using ?

I think it can lager fine. I was able to get it down to 30f ambient no problem. I just stuck a brew bucket with 5.5g water and set it to 33F. I'll let you know how it does. I'm kicking around the idea of picking up another one for lagering. Long term use? Who knows?

    Co2 outside the fridge.

I used this https://www.brewhardware.com/product_p/npttokegpost.htm from Brewhardware on my regulator wye splitter so I could just snap a gas disconnect on it. It works great!

    This fridge for Kegerator

I bought one a week ago to use as a fermentation chamber. It's too small to fit 2 5g cornies. I could fit 1 5g and a 3g in it at the same time. I didn't check for gas bottle fit. It would make a decent 1 tap kegerator.

Brew Bucket owners - What Mini Fridge are you using ?

Yes, it's a black friday, well, pre-black friday deal. There is a drain hole in the raised back part on the Magic Chef that can be drilled out for cords. No bubbles to watch in a brew bucket, so the glass door isn't a big deal for me. Can't beat the price.

Brew Bucket owners - What Mini Fridge are you using ?

Here's another option- I just picked one up from my local Home Depot. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Magic-Chef-4-4-cu-ft-Mini-Refrigerator-with-Freezerless-Design-in-Stainless-Steel-HMAR440ST/207169805 Fits a brew bucket almost perfectly. The ridge in the center of the door pushes on the brew...

Which Session IPA do you like better?

I'm not a fan of either one. About the only commercial session IPA I've liked has been Oscar Blues Pinner, but it hasn't been available around here for a while, other than some fruit flavored variant.

Need Guidance with Setting up Power

There's unused breaker slots visible at the bottom of the panel in the picture he posted. The only 240v appliance labeled is the a/c. Of course, he should verify with an electrician, but from what I see, he should be set.
