    Mercedes

Can't help on the Mercedes, but is your jeep build detailed somewhere? That is something I'd be interested in looking at... :)

Getting back on the (brewing) horse... *Pics*

Yeah, it wasn't working in the kitchen, but works fine for a brewing workstation or area to drink some brews! It's really a "peninsula", so I may use it as such once I figure out how I want to set everything up... then people could sit around three sides of it, instead of just at the one...

Getting back on the (brewing) horse... *Pics*

Tell me about it... I never thought about going AWOL forever, I was just busy with other stuff! Now that it's all pretty much wrapping itself up, other than wheeling the jeep a weekend here and there through summer and fall, I have time to brewwww!

Ideas for a changeable label on my tap handle

I took 2 saranac handles, removed the "plates" from them, and put my own logos on them, printed on my little office inkjet... I cleaned one side of mine off of all the adhesive, and I put a logo (sized exactly as needed) on the other side using the remaining adhesive from the old plate. LOL...

Getting back on the (brewing) horse... *Pics*

Well, after being a bum in the homebrewing world for the last 9 months or so, I am finally going to get back at it. The last 6-7 months have been very busy with my first home purchase in Oct 09 (months before that I was busy looking for one), a job switch (closer to new home), and wedding...

    Speeding Ticket

Nah... I'm sure they know about it, it was probably a year ago now and I've gotten 1-2 renewals since then (the most recent went down $6-8 a month). Maybe they just figured they are (or definitely have already) raked me across the coals enough. FWIW I was paying $180-$225 a month for...

    Speeding Ticket

Exactly how many points do you already have or why are you so worried about a few points on your record? I don't think most insurance companies will zap you with huge increases for your first ticket... This is coming from someone who has accumulated at least 25 points in his 10 year driving...

Can you plant rhizomes this late (early May) and get anything?

Thanks for the vote of confidence... I figured I'd be ordering even if I got a negative response. LOL. So, I placed an order for exactly what I indicated (1 nugget regular, 1 jumbo hallarteau) and hopefully will get them in a few days after paying express shipping. If i get them in the ground...

Can you plant rhizomes this late (early May) and get anything?

So, I told myself I would grow my own hops as soon as I had my own place, and I got into my first home ownership adventure last October. However, between the other projects I had going on, my jeep wheeling taking over as higher priority hobby, etc. I dropped the ball and didn't get rhizomes...

    Looking for: Dandelion beer recipes

Both of those appear more "dandelion wine" to me, than beer. There is no malted grains being used in either recipe... I would say you are going to need to wait a heck of a lot longer than 1 week for dandelion "wine" to be ready. Probably more like 6 months+. I know my grandmother usually lets...

    Custom Tap Handles...wha-what?!

Verrry nice - love the logo... similar theme to my brewery as well. I used some saranac handles I picked up for cheap from somewhere here on the board, removed the saranac logo (just from one for now - you can see the other beside), and apply my own logo... I'm onto doing my second...

Another Homemade Venture - Laundry Detergent

How ironic - I just made some of this today, THEN i found this thread. I was torn between liquid and powder, but went with powder. Exact recipe above, except I used to the felsnaptha soap stuff, instead of regular bar soap. The fels stuff has a fairly strong scent to me, but I like it...

"Custom" faucet shank removal tool... 1" wrench and dremel is all you need.

Not a problem man - I looked around long and hard before I found the solution and tried multiple things that didn't work. I was sure the beverage factory tool would work, so I sprung the $10 + shipping and it was a waste... This was cheaper and works wayyyyy better. Also, I don't even...

"Custom" faucet shank removal tool... 1" wrench and dremel is all you need.

LOL - I plan to keep this one with my beer equipment... then I'll never forget what its for! :D

"Custom" faucet shank removal tool... 1" wrench and dremel is all you need.

Ok, so I didn't invent this idea, but figured I'd put it up here b/c I looked around quite a bit before I found this as the only resolution to getting the elbowed shanks out of my crowded tower (2 taps). If you're tower looks something like this (not mine, mine was worse with elbows on the...
