Hey Yoop! Good to see you around! The belgian pale i brew is good and did well in competition but it's no IPA, that's for sure. :rockin: I prefer tripel or saison if drinking belgian... but my belgian PA was a good smooth drinking pale wit some belgian character.

It's aged about 16 months (thats nothing for Orval I've heard) too if you are curious...

I said hell with the Unibroue and went for an Orval for #3 of the night... and the bird has left me to wallow in me solitude :confused:

Thanks, great info! It is a first year plant, but it was from a "crown" or "jumbo" rhizome. As opposed to your normal rhizome which is a 3-4" root clipping, this was a root "clump" that barely fit in a 1 gallon ziplock bag... so while it may be first year in my ground, there is some root...
