Returning to Belgians today with another Quad

Hazy IPA from a fairly local microbrewery. It's actually the first Hazy IPA that I've tried, they seem to be fairly rare around these parts. All in all I found it to be very smooth and fruity drink, certainly something I'll be adding to my regular beer stockpile.

Always a pleasure to be a motivating factor in the consumption or brewing of beer. Best of luck on the brew. ;)

Since I sadly don't brew my own beer (yet) I've settled for some things I found in the fridge. Started with a red ale which was better than expected. And washed it down with a Belgian quad

I assume I've left it on the lees for way too long. It picked up some odd, funky flavours and a very unpleasant bitter aftertaste. I think I'll just leave it in the back of the basement where I forget about it for another year or so, hope time aids it. I've quite new to meads myself, haven't...

Sorry to hear that, maybe if you called again they'd be willing to stock up on it once more? Or perhaps attempt to brew a clone or make something similar yourself? Not trying to be a smart ass here, just throwing around suggestions. :) I'm just starting to realise myself that I'm quite lucky...

Felt like something a bit different today.

Enjoyed a nice Leffe brown today. First time drinking it, but I certainly enjoyed it.

Stopped by a local craft brewery taphouse on my way home from work. Loo-Blah-Nah craft brewery English ale and Porter.

Very coffee and chocolate forward flavour, certainly an interesting drink.
