Just finished brewing a brown ale for competition, and i noticed throughout my recirculated mash that my mash tun outlet thermometer was getting more and more full of wort! check the pic! has this ever happened to anyone else?

I'm pretty easy, I Brew electrically, automated to four switches.... So I thought "four switch" that is the name! Easy and it sounds fun!

I brew in the garage, I picked up an electric unit heater that after changing the plug end I can plug it into my panel and use temp control to bring the room to a cozy temp! Which is a big job for someone in Canada.... In the dead of winter..... But it works awesome!

Good call on that, I'll slice it like a veggie and see what I can get flavour wise:) should be a few months away from tasting but if anyone else has tips I'd be super happy to hear them:)

Just starting a bit of research for a future ale i'm planning. I'd like to do a light Saison with a Sweetgrass edition, either last 5 minutes of the boil, or dry hopped with it. on the premise that by the time spring rolls around sometimes nothing is better than a cold beer and fresh cut grass...
