    The Venting Thread: Let It Out, Folks!

    Signed up for AHA last month and was told I'd get a pound of azacca hops. The month is over and now we're over a week into October and no mention from them about the hops. By the time they ship out there will be snow on the ground. Who wants to brew with tropical hops in the middle of winter?

    Trying out my first ever hot pepper ferment today. I used the Habenero sauce recipe from Fermentation Kitchen, but subbed jalapeños instead and added 1 carrot.     Kettle Sour Question (with fruit)

    I'm sure everything is fine. Airlock activity/bubbles is not always the best indicator of fermentation. My guess is that everything is carrying on as it should and the bucket maybe doesn't have a complete airtight seal. Let it ride and double check all fermentation activity has ceased before...
