[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Hi RandR+, I just noticed that the temp value wasn't updating in the top right. I went into the Pi and it totally seems to be still reading the temp, cut not updating. I checked the temp history, and it stopped about 3 hrs after I installed it. Can you point me in the right direction to...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

If you can ssh into the pi, there should be a refresh.sh in the html directory. cd /var/www/html ./refresh.sh Whoops, Update - it's in the /var/www/html/includes directory.

    What is your House beer?

My house beer is a Hazy IPA, well, that what some of my mates and I call it. Another mate is a beer judge who basically said he would hammer it on being too dark, too sweet, and too bitter if I entered it as a Hazy and that it's closer to a Double IPA, but not quite. Still, he said it was quite...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Ah, that's why. I manage the pi completely remotely. Hence the following: qt.qpa.screen: QXcbConnection: Could not connect to display Could not connect to any X display. I'll have to figure something else out. Cheers, Adam

You shouldn't lose your info, but it will overwrite the mods you have made to the styling. I keep a list of the customisations, so I can pop those back in quickly. curl -L install.rpints.com | sudo bash Always backup your card before you start though.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Hi @RandR+ Bit of stuffing around. I can get the pi to bring up the query error now. All I need to do is go to the taps, tick show pins, then change a flow meter count and hit save. Error appears, but everything seems to save ok? Actually, just hit save, no need to modify anything.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Hi RandR+, Installed the latest (using the script), still nothing with the pours. I have all the pour display settings on, but nothing on the main screen, and nothing top right. I have turned off the fermenters and gas from displaying top right just in case it was that, but no dice. I went to...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

The arduino has a 12v 1A plugpack via the voltage in. I had it lying around. I note that this probably not needed as it can also be powered from the Pi. However, the Pi's always seem to be power hungry, so I added the individual power for the Uno. By display, I mean the monitor that the Pi...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

No, mine have been running for several months. I did try running mine on an Alamode before I found this forum, and had all kinds of pain with that but now, with the USB Uno, I've had no problem at measuring pours. I run a separate power supply for the Arduino. I have my display controlled by the...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

OK, so everything went a bit pear shaped, and I ended up formatting and starting from scratch. New install of Pi Desktop, then the install script. It has since taken a lot to get everything up and running, and I still get odd behaviour. Possibly the worst issue I have is the flowmeters not...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I updated, it's been a while, and whilst everything appeared to have gone well, the Beer batches page has a Cannot execute query" error at the top of the page. This is also present on the Kegs, Taps, Fermenters and Gas tanks pages. I used the script to update, and no errors were reported...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Hi RandR+, I have my pi running a screen above my home bar. There is no mouse or keyboard. When I make changes on the pi from a remote computer (add a keg, change a glass type etc.) I only know two ways of making the pi refresh its screen. I tell it to reboot, or I have to pour a beer. Is it...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Been customising my RPints display, I've gone for a blackboard background, and a chalk like font and am pretty happy with it. So far I've managed to handle all the changes within style.css. However, my last pour value has two decimal places and looks a bit odd. Not to mention that I doubt my...
