anyone know of a chest freezer that will TIGHTLY hold three 5 gal kegs?

I'm trying to determine if there is a chest freezer in existence that someone knows will hold either three or (4) 5 gal kegs. I had thought about squeezing (2) 2.5 or 3 gal kegs into my existing kegerator, but starting to think it might be cheaper to find a chest freezer that will hold either 3...

tower extensions and running (2) kegs into one tap

Makes perfect sense - what is the most economical way for me to track down these parts? Is there such thing as an economical way to get (2) 2.5 or 3 gal kegs? Cheapest I have found is $100 each.

tower extensions and running (2) kegs into one tap

The main reason was that a lot of stuff sits on top of my kegerator, so if there were a way to not have to open it to swap the kegs that would be great. Wasn't sure what would be involved.

tower extensions and running (2) kegs into one tap

So I realized that, if I can get my hands on (2) 2.5 or 3 gal kegs for cheap, that I could expand my kegerator from either 2 taps to 3 or 4. I'm leaning more towards 3 taps, I can't get over how expensive most of the 4 tap towers are! That being said, I was looking at just getting an...

Levels of gluten free, steeping grains ok?

Great input! Do you know much about how valid the home testing is or where I could track that down? I'd be curious to see what the acceptable PPM is and where mine stack up. My girlfriend is actually extremely sensitive, so I tend to think that I'm pretty damn close! I've actually gained a lot...

Levels of gluten free, steeping grains ok?

My girlfriend is celiac and I have been experimenting with gluten free brewing for a few months now. However, I have still been using steeping grains to get the wort started and get my color. She has not had any of her typical reactions when drinking the beer. I'm curious if this is considered...

    carbonation station

I've got two strong scotish ales fermenting that say they are ready to drink two months after carbonation. My problem is I currently only carbonate in my kegerator meaning that if I won't have beer to drink for 2 months if I put them in there. I was thinking it might make sense to get two...

Novice home brewer needs help translating a recipe

hmm - might be out of luck then - I don't really have a way to control the temperature of fermentation unless I fermented in a keg in my kegerator and adjusted the temps that way....and then my nut brown ale that is in the kegerator now would be changing temps...

Novice home brewer needs help translating a recipe

So I fell in love with a local 'pilsner' so called the brewmaster to find out if he'd sell me 5 gal of it. Come to find out the one I drank was the wrong recipe and wasn't really the spec pilsner, so he got me to write a bunch of stuff down of which I don't really know what all of it is. All...

can you cool wort with ice?

So I was thinking that as soon as the wort is cooled to 70 you add water to it anyway to get the 5 gal of beer, so why couldn't you freeze a gallon of the same water you are going to add to the wort anyway and drop it in to cool it down?

    fermenting issues

So I definately am not setting my thermostat in my place between 68 and 72 so I've been wrapping a moist towel with a fan on my carboy - my last brew turned out pretty good but i've got a pale ale fermenting now and literally after a day of bubbling it quit - now everytime I go and rewet the...

I just kegged my first red ale and I cranked the psi up to 20 to set the keg or whatever then tried to turn it back down to 'serving' pressure and beer startec coming out of the regulator - is that normal?

    first brew questions

I didn't buy a 2nd carboy yet - I am trying to figure out if I can use one of my 2kegs as a secondary fermenter though - one of you touched on putting it in there under 10psi - but not sure if that is the final keg you were talking about it being in or if I would then rerack into another keg?

    first brew questions

so do I let it sit in the keg for 3 weeks as a secondary fermentation and then rerack into another keg for the actually brew drinking?

    first brew questions

So I've spent some time searching and can't find the exact answers to the questions I am needing answers to - so here is my first post! I've brewed with friends in the past but working on my first Red Ale all by my lonesome - Few Questions: 1. I am going to be kegging so I have a few...
