Full Boil chill take too long with ice water bath?

Awesome. Thank you to all that replied. I am a go for a full boil! Haha, yea I see this definitely happening. It seems that there is always something on sale or a 'good deal' that you just cant pass up. With my construction background I know that having the right tool will make your job...

Full Boil chill take too long with ice water bath?

I have my inaugural brew set for this Thursday night! I can't wait (however SWMBO may be able to wait.) I have been planning this pretty carefully as to what equipment I need and what not but I am unclear about 1 thing. I planned on doing a full-boil of a northern brewer extract kit...

Oldest U.S. Beer Maker, Yuengling, Eyes Expansion

This is pretty cool to hear. Yuengling is definitely one of my 'go-to' brews. I have always referred to them as 'Jang-langs'. It is a great light beer. And good for them sticking to their guns! It makes me appreciate them that much more.

    Spring Water Vs. Tap Water

I have access to RO water and I have been wondering about this myself. I was planning on using all RO water. Do you have an idea about how much of what minerals you would need to add to the RO water for the beer to turn out alright? I'm hoping to start my first brew this weekend. Thanks!

Pirates vs. Ninjas... although it has seemed that pirates might have taken this one due to all the wenches and booze they get...

Looking for and outdoor brewing setup

Yea I pulled the trigger on the $40 Bass Pro Shops special. I'm still currently purchasing all my equipment for my first brew and this seemed like a steal to me because pots alone that size are pretty expensive. I'll let you all know how it works when it gets in!
