There are a few versions that have hand pumps. There was a German EKU mini keg that had a hose that was similar to a sanke party tap. A company in Germany by the name of Wecomatic GmbH still makes a lot of the plastic fittings. DMF

One of my 5 gallon corny kegs I bought intentionally with a broken handle very cheap. I used to be a scuba diving intructor so I had this scuba tank tote laying around that fits around it and works just fine on a corny. You could probably find them on Amazon. DMF

I replaced all my poppets on my used ball lock kegs with the universal type as all other rubber parts to rid the smell of soda. I do notice there is a lot of tension although they do seem to work. Any advice offered on how to cut the springs to reduce tension? DMF

The fermenter was about 4 feet abouve the keg and the fermenter spigot line ran about 4 feet and was plugged into the liquid "OUT" post on keg. All in all it should of worked but didn't. DMF

Well this week I took another taste of this batch and I would have to say it tastes 100% better then it did last week. This now feels promising. Will give it another week and I'm pretty sure it will turn out to be good! :)

I highly suspected it was really a lager. Can't figure why Palmer picked 34/70 for a kolsch? Thanks to this thread and the members here I now know of K-97 yeast and will be giving that a try next. Another batch from a different kolsch recipe I have fermenting right now I am using Lalbrew Koln...

Also to mention I used a Inkbird-308 with the probe going down a thermowell inside of a Anvil 7.5 bucket fermenter in a chest freezer converted to fermentation chamber. Temperature was set to 57f with a Fermwrap around the Anvil as a heat source. DMF
