    You mentioned it's a chimay blue clone. Your OG should be pretty high, calls for more yeast. Def go with a starter, I'm planning to do one myself and I'm shooting for 2 l....(5 gal batch) Take a look here http://yeastcalc.com/ depending on batch size and OG, you will need more.

    So, have you tried it? I have an "imperial chocolate oatmeal stout" batch ready to bottle, and if I used 200 ml of monin cherry sirup it would be enough to carb it. Not sure if I should do it... What's your experience?
