    some wierd things happened

    I have had the very strong smell with my beer before bottling, and it still turned out great. I just let it condition in the bottles for 3 weeks, cracked open the first one and noticed no off smells or flavors

    newbie dry hopping question

    thanks for all the quick replies everyone. if you use whole hops instead of pellets, wouldnt they soak up and sink easier? i'm using a bucket but i can imagine getting a bag in and out of a carboy would be a PITA
