    So I think I'm gonna do this. Pull the porter from the keg and put it back under airlock at 65-68 ddegrees. I'll let it set there for a month or two and see if it will 'degass' at all or if the yeast can clear it up. Sound good?

    I know this is discussed slot but u am afraid of scorching wort with a rims sys. So I was thinking herms. But now I'm thinking it might be cheaper to jst go with the rims sys. Then I won't need another vessel right? Just a pid/ssr and a chamber (High temp PVC?) And a heat element?

    When to do a Rest???

    Just checked airlock after an hour after taking my gravity reading. Still getting 43 bbls per minute so I'm gonna let it stay at 50 for a few more days. I'll check again sat night. Does this sound ok?

    So I brewed my first lager last Sunday night. It has been fermenting for 4 days now and has gone from a SG of 1.044 to 1.020 approx 75% done by my calculations(all in primary @ 50F). Am I ready to move this into the house at around 68F until done for a diacetyl rest? or should I wait another day...
