First time post. I am starting to brew wine at home

Wine expert sells kits many kits. They give you everything you need. I'd try that. Makes 6 gals or 30 bottles of wine. I know of a company who only makes wine from these kits a is making a great living of of them. They hold wine conventions and classes using these kits.

Ok so there's this comet that's about to pass the earth 17 thousand miles away. NASA says there is no chance of it hitting. But what if it did, what would your last brew be? Mine would be a Honey Ale

Best food to go with your home brew?

One of my favorite brews is a Honey Ale. It goes great with wings, both spice hot wings or sweet honey or brown sugar wings. Trying to find a perfect pairing to go with a IPA. So what type of food is best paired with your brew? :mug:

    Keg life

    two stage options???

One bucket one carboy I'd say glass car boy due to plastic harboring small off favors from different stronger beers. Besides plastic just doesn't last as long.

    Why second fermentation

I also use a secondary to make sure I don't pick up any off favors from the suspended waste on the bottom. Also doing the transfer will help to polish up the brew before you bottle condition. I leave the brew in the primary for the first 12 to 14 days, move to a secondary and I leave that for...

Newbie question, Beer equipment for wine & vice versa?

I wouldn't do it, the wine bucket will stain and make the beer have a little after taste of wine. If using a brew bucket of course. If it's a glass car boy then by all means it will work.

    Irish Moss

I haven't used any clarifying agent before. My secondary is what normally clears it up pretty good. I found the Irish moss on amazon which came from monster brew.
