Things like this show how dated NASA really is in it's launch capabilities. They need to stick with exploratory equipment like the MARS helicopter and rovers.

Watched the one last Thursday here on the West Coast, it was just dark enough you could see the whole thing, but to bright for my camera (phone) to get a good shot. Another double landing will be awesome!

You could try dipping the paper in water or milk (I've see milk used for labels) and see if that works holding them in place.

What holds the "fish eye" in place? You could try those stick glue things kids use for crafts but that may make them blurry.

Yes you can set it on something other than the leg extention. Yes it does get hot so a wood surface might be an issue, but I have seen someone use that cement backer board or a cement stepping stone to put on top of wood.
